Please read the following Privacy Policy to learn more about TVision Insights, Inc.’s (“TVision”) personal information practices. By using our audience engagement measurement equipment (the “System”) as a participant in the program (the “Program”), you acknowledge that you accept the practices and policies outlined in this Privacy Policy, and you have consented to our information practices, including the collection, use, and sharing of your information and your children’s information, if applicable. See the end of this privacy policy for specific information about our data practices with respect to children’s information.
Scope
This Privacy Policy covers TVision’s treatment of personal information ("Personal Information") of our Program participants. The System collects information from you and individuals in your household when you access or use our System, as well as any individuals incidentally in the vicinity of the System during your participation in the Program, such as guests to your home.

Changes to Our Privacy Policy
From time to time we may change this Privacy Policy and we will alert you to changes by sending you an email.
Information We Collect
We collect the following categories of information on our Program participants from the applicable sources:
Information You Provide to Us:
We receive and store the following Personal Information that you provide to us when you decide to participate in the Program:
Identifiers such as first and last name; email address; physical address;
Date of birth;
Demographic information (gender, age, race, ethnicity, city and state);
Information about your media consumption habits; and
Phone number.
Automatically-collected Information
Whenever you or others interact with the System (including passively, by simply being in the vicinity of the System when it is on), we automatically receive and capture certain information from the System. This information may include
certain audience media consumption data;
certain audio data, allowing us to recognize media (TV, video, other) being consumed;
photos, images, and face geometry (a biometric identifier used for facial recognition);
periodic snapshot images of the webcam’s entire field of view;
color and depth sensory data;
information about the devices used to view media;
information that identifies a device’s location and the owner of the device;
IP address of your household (i.e., a numerical label that is connected to a computer network); and
Online identifiers that we assign to you.
Information from third parties
We may also collect information about you from third-party partners and clients.
Use of Your Information
We use your Personal Information to:
gather demographic information and information about audience engagement, behavior, attention and other media consumption habits, analyze that data, combine that data with other data, and create insights, statistics, analytics, and anonymized segments and lookalike models and audiences;
infer likely connections between different Internet-connected devices in a household;
measure and analyze the effectiveness of advertising that viewers see while consuming media;
enhance what we know about you by matching your personal information against personal information that we receive from third parties, including partners and clients;
allow third parties, including partners and clients, to match the personal information that we have about you, against their personal information that they have about you (if any), and then creating their own insights, statistics, analytics, and anonymized segments and lookalike models and audiences;
improve our services and offerings and create new ones;
allow you to set up a user account and profile;
contact you;
respond to your service requests, including providing troubleshooting and support if the positioning of the webcam needs to be adjusted;
analyze how you use the System;
respond to legal requirements, requests and actions, protect the security of our business and our participants, and enforce our terms; and
the other uses described under “Disclosure of your Information” below.
Disclosure of Your Information
We may disclose your personal information to third parties for a business purpose. When we disclose personal information for a business purpose, we enter into a contract that describes the purpose and requires the recipient to both keep that personal information confidential and not use it for any purpose except in accordance with the contract.
We may share your Personal Information and other information with third parties as follows:
Clients: We may provide personal information and other information, in some cases in hashed form that may be re-identified, to our clients for their use for business, advertising, marketing, and analytics purposes. We may also provide aggregate usage data (e.g., viewing behavior and attention viewing behavior) to our clients who may use this data to improve the viewing experiences that they offer their viewers.
Partners: We may provide personal information and other information, in some cases in hashed form that may be re-identified, to our partners for their use for business, advertising, marketing, and analytics purposes. These partners may also use this information to create audience segments and lookalike audiences to help their clients identify potential customers and consumers of their offerings. They may also use this information in their online marketplaces to help their clients target audiences that may be interested in their products.
Affiliates: We may provide Personal Information to our corporate affiliates (e.g., subsidiaries) to facilitate the operation of our business.
Vendors and Service Providers: We may employ third party vendors and service providers to perform tasks on our behalf, to enable the System technology, facilitate the operation of the Program, or to help us provide our services and offerings to clients and partners. We may share your information with these parties to enable them to perform these functions. For example, we may use a data hosting service to store and process information that we collect through the System. Unless you are otherwise informed, these third parties do not have any right to use Personal Information we share with them beyond what is necessary to assist us.
Business Transfers: Your information may be transferred in the event of a merger, acquisition, reorganization, bankruptcy, receivership, sale of company assets, transition of service to another provider. Your information may be transferred to a successor or affiliate alone or as part of that transaction along with other assets.
Legal Requirements: We may disclose your information if required to do so by law or in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to (i) comply with a legal obligation, (ii) protect and defend the rights or property of TVision, (iii) act in urgent circumstances to protect the personal safety of users of the System or the public, or (iv) protect against legal liability.
With Your Consent: We may also share any information about you, including Personal Information and television and video viewing information, with any party when we have your consent.
CALLING AND TEXTING
By providing your telephone number you authorize TVision, or its representatives to use this number to contact you regarding TVision products and services through an automated or predictive dialing system or prerecorded message system; regardless of whether the number is on any do-not-call lists or is otherwise registered as a wireless telephone number. You understand that you do not need to provide a cellular phone number to receive TVision services.
If you do provide us with a cellular phone number, you consent to us texting you regarding the TVision products and services, including by texting you through an automated or predictive dialing system or prerecorded message system; regardless of whether the number is on any do-not-call lists. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Message rates and data charges may apply. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. If you have any questions about your text or data plan, it is best to contact your carrier.
You may stop receiving calls or cancel receiving text messages from us at any time. To stop receiving calls, you may tell us verbally on the call. To stop receiving text messages from us, just text “STOP” in response to a text message. After you send a text message “STOP” to us, we will send you a text message to confirm that you have been unsubscribed. After this, you will no longer receive text messages from us. If you want to receive text messages from us again, you can email us at cs@tvisioninsights.com or respond to our last text message with a keyword such as “START” or “YES.” If you are experiencing issues with the text messaging program, you can reply with the keyword “HELP” for more assistance, or you can get help directly at cs@tvisioninsights.com.
SECURITY
We store, transmit, and protect Personal Information using a reasonable standard of care within the industry and in a manner that is the same or more protective than the manner in which we store, transmit, and protect other confidential information. However, the Internet cannot be guaranteed to be fully secure and we cannot ensure or warrant the security of any information you provide to us in connection with your participation in the Program.
RETENTION
Retention and Destruction of Face Geometries
TVision will destroy your biometric identifier (specifically, face geometries used for facial recognition in conjunction with the Program) when the purpose for collecting the identifier has expired or been satisfied, or within three years of your last interaction with TVision, whichever occurs first.
Retention of other Personal Information
We retain information about your media consumption habits for one year after your participation in the program concludes and you return the System to TVision. We may retain non-video viewing and non-biometric Personal Information only for as long as is reasonably necessary to accomplish the purposes for which it was collected.

YOUR CHOICES
You may always opt not to disclose information to us, but keep in mind some information may be needed to register with us or to use the System and participate in the Program.
We may communicate with you by email to send you information about other products and services that may be of interest to you. These emails will contain an easy-to-use opt-out mechanism if you no longer want to receive them. You may also contact cs@tvisioninsights.com or call 1-570-TVI-HELP (884-4357) in order to opt-out. Please note that you may continue to receive emails from us concerning your participation in the Program after you opt out of receiving promotional messages from us.
You may withdraw your consent for TVision to share your media consumption information with third parties at any time by emailing us at cs@tvisioninsights.com or calling 1-570-TVI-HELP (884-4357). Please note that withdrawing your consent may result in termination of your participation in the Program.
California and Virginia Users: We are currently not subject to the California Consumer Privacy Act or the Virginia Consumer Data Protection Act. As a result, the additional rights of users under those laws do not apply to our business.
THIRD PARTY APPLICATIONS AND SERVICES
This Privacy Policy applies only to the services provided by TVision. The policies and procedures we described here do not apply to any third-party applications or services.
